This script modifies all image posts to link directly to their highest resolution version.
It also adds the time stamp of each post to the upper right corner.
NOTE about script maintenance:
I'm using Tumblr much less intensely nowadays - but still somewhat regularly.
However, I only use part of the Tumblr UI.
If you notice areas where the script doesn't seem to do what it should, please do let me know!
If I know about an issue I will fix it.
Use Middle-Mouse Click to open the high-res version of an image in a new (background) tab.
Tumblr is injecting HTML into what should be a pure image binary file, against all standards and best practices.
Thus, "Right Click | Save Link As" from the dashboard doesn't work anymore (grrrr!).
As of v3.0 the script attempts to remove most of this HTML crap.
Use "Right-Click | Save Image As" in the newly opened tab to save the high-res version of the image.
Use ALT-Click to access the default Tumblr overlay view (as would happen on normal click without this script).
Normal Mouse-Click unfortunately now opens both a new tab AND the image overlay.
