This allows you to mute players on Skribbl by clicking their name in the list on the left.

  • Install a user-script manager following the instructions on the relevant page of Greasy Fork;
  • Install this script by visiting this page and clicking the big green Install button;
  • Open skribbl.io as usual, and join a lobby. Once a player is clicked, their name is added to a set of muted names and every player sharing that name becomes muted;
    • Since it is impossible to distinguish between messages from players sharing the same name in the chatbox on the right, the script really mutes names, not individual players;
    • This has the advantage that spambots stay muted if they reuse the name;
  • To unmute a name, click a player with that name again.

The script has been tested on relatively recent versions of Firefox and Chromium.
