When "fast" is not fast enough!
Setup:
To remove locations from the dropdown menu, repeat the same steps as above until step 3 - the "Add to Fast Travel" link should be replaced by "Remove from Fast Travel" link for locations that have already been saved.
The Recall functionality remembers your previous location when you move to a new location for ease of travelling back quickly.
