Enhance your browsing experience on 4chan with the 4chan Gallery UserScript! This script adds a convenient "Open Image Gallery" button to threads on the 4chan /vt/ board. When clicked, the button opens an image gallery that displays all images and videos from the thread in a grid format (Even with Sound), making it easy to view and navigate through the media content.

Features:

  • Automatically detects and loads media content from the thread.
  • Dark mode compatibility for a seamless browsing experience.
  • Resizable grid with scrollbars for easy navigation.
  • Image/Gif/Video playback with sound support (if available) and play/pause, reset buttons.
  • Ability to enable only WebMs mode, and autoplay WebMs like Gifs.
  • View Post button to jump to the original post in the thread.
  • Close button to exit the image gallery.
  • Allows viewing of media within multiple archived threads at the same time (Checkbox).

  • 2023-03-29 (1.5): Added Gallery for the Archived Section at "https://boards.4chan.org/*/archive" which allows you to select multiple threads to view the media of at the same time.
  • 2023-03-26 (1.4): Fixed minor bug with loading WebM sounds when having 4chanX installed at the same time.
  • 2023-03-26 (1.3): Added button for toggling gallery of only WebMs, and another button for autoplaying/looping webms without sound (Turns off play on hover while toggled). Adds ability to seek/change duration bar on WebMs with audio, to sync the audio automatically.
