I definitely like the idea of the script but I'm unable to access the settings panel in the preferences and I'm not seeing the ''change status '' drop down bar. Other than these quirks it seems fine 👍.

To help figure out what's going wrong with the missing settings panel and "Change Status" dropdown, could you please provide the following details?
Browser you're using (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
Whether you're using any other scripts or extensions that might interfere
A screenshot or brief description of what you see on the Preferences/Settings page

Also, when you're on the Settings page, please try this:
Right-click anywhere on the page and select "Inspect" or press F12 to open the DevTools
Go to the Console tab
Refresh the page
Copy and paste any errors or messages that show up in the console here
That info will help a lot in diagnosing the issue. Thanks again for reporting it!

I'm using firefox
I use Kat's Tweaks Bookmarking, w4tchdoge's bookmarker, but I disabled those to test this script. I also have some other minor AO3 scripts but I'm not sure if they'd interfere.
The added screenshot is all I see in the preferences tab

Hopefully these errors and messages are helpful, I wasn't sure whether to send all errors or only the ones related to Fic Tracker

That is really strange, those scripts do not interfere with FicTracker
Please, provide a screenshot of the Console window output
Do this for both settings and fics listing page (for example search result page)

I've just checked in firefox as well - works as expected, so there's gotta be something else affecting the script

The first screenshot is from the preferences page and the second is from the search results page.

Looks like GreaseMonkey script manager treats one of the builtin functions not the same as TamperMonkey (script manager that is used by me for testing)
I will do some changes and push the update today, we will see if it helps

After some additional testing, it seems the script is still unstable with GreaseMonkey. The issue is quite ambiguous, so it may take some time to track down, and I'm not sure if full compatibility with GreaseMonkey will be achievable.

For now, the best recommendation would be to use Tampermonkey, as it's lightweight and works as expected with the script. I'll continue looking into the issue, but switching to Tampermonkey will ensure a smoother experience for now
