Fix for Milky Way Idle on Edge Canary (Android)

This is a fix for Milky Way Idle on Edge Canary
Microsoft Edge Canary on Google Play

The top section of the website is cut off when used as a PWA, so this script slightly resizes the site.

🛠 Installation Steps

  1. Download Edge Canary from the Google Play Store
  2. Install the extension Violentmonkey in Edge Canary
    • ⚠️ Don't use Tampermonkey! I had issues with it breaking the script a bunch of times.
  3. Open Violentmonkey and install the following scripts:
    • MWITools
    • MilkyWayIdle Edge Canary Scaler
  4. Navigate to Milky Way Idle and log in to your account.
  5. Install as a PWA
    • In Edge Canary settings, go to Add to phone → Install
    • This will install Milky Way Idle as a PWA.
  6. Open the newly installed PWA and enjoy!

❓ Troubleshooting

  • The script is set to scale around 12px, which fits my phone (S23 Ultra).
  • If the screen is pushed down too much or not enough, adjust the topSpacing value in the script.
  • Try reopening Milky Way Idle after making adjustments.
