I believe this was a deliberate move by Netflix, as Linux lacks a reliable DRM-secure display path. Last year, Netflix blocked Chrome on Linux, and soon after users switched to Firefox, Netflix blocked that too. To use Netflix on Linux now, you have to modify the browser's user agent to mimic Windows or macOS, and even then, you need to recompile the browser to include a trusted DRM device ID (which is extremely difficult to obtain).
Sadly does not work with the latest Firefox on Linux
It seems to find PlayerCore, but either loads infinitely or fails with error E100
