Hi, I don't know if it's a problem or if I have to do it manually, so just to be sure, I'll leave the question open. I've installed a collection of 1,782 Skyrim mods, and once they're all installed, I add the collection as indicated in the recommendations and/or in the video, but the mods aren't installed automatically. Does anyone know why this isn't happening or if I have to do it manually? Thank you very much, and sorry for the inconvenience.

I have exactly the same issue, downloaded 1783 mods with no problem but can't really add the collection to Vortex (it just downloads a zip file with the name of the collection) and so I have no idea how to actually install the collection. I notice noone gives names for the collections here but if needed I can provide details. What can the problem be?

Hi, I downloaded Skyrim and this collection to try to replicate your issue, but I didn’t encounter any problems.
I downloaded each mod using Vortex, then added the collection to Vortex, and it installed all the mods correctly as expected. 🤷
It seems like the issue might be on your end, sorry.
Have you applied the recommended settings for Vortex listed in the description of this collection?
Vortex shouldn’t automatically install the mods, that’s the collection’s job. Vortex should only download the mods, not install them.
Try uninstalling all the mods and reinstalling the collection.

To clarify, when I say "uninstall all the mods," I mean to "uninstall/remove" them from Vortex, not to delete the mod archives. You don’t need to re-download the mods.
Ensure all mods are in the "Never Installed" status in Vortex, then add the collection again to install them properly.

Thank you so much for looking into this, taking the time to download the whole collection and testing it with the script. Yes, I did apply all Vortex options recommended from the get-go. My original post was before I realised that the installation for the collection itself is through installing in Vortex the aforementioned zip file that downloads when you press the 'Add collection' button in the collection's webpage. My real issue was, after the collection starts installing, it starts giving error messages (the collection author said this is normal, so ok), but after 5-10 minutes, installing around mod 24 or 34 (sorry I didn't remember the exact number, but it was definitely at the start, at let's say 4% overall installation, the process just stops - no error message, nothing. I tried many times to reinstall, I tried the process you mentioned above, nothing, still the same. I'm sure 1,782 mods were downloaded, but the installation still stops at 4% no matter what I do. I got so frustrated and I lost so much time trying to fix this that I went ahead and bought a 1-month premium in Nexus, which was the whole point to avoid.. Anyway, is you tested everything and had no issue, obviously I did something wrong but I couldn't pinpoint what exactly.. Maybe after my Premium runs out I will try the script again for a different game/collection. The Nexus downloads themselves work flawlessly, which is the main idea anyway.
