🛠️ How to Use

  1. Install a Userscript Manager: Make sure you have an extension like Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey installed in your browser.
  2. Install this Script: Click the green "Install this script" button above.
  3. Start Exporting:
    • Open any chat on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Grok.
    • Look for the floating Export button (default position is the bottom right corner).
    • Wait for the page to fully load.
    • Click the button to open the menu.
    • Select your desired format (Markdown, JSON, CSV, TXT, or HTML).
    • The file will automatically download to your computer!
  4. Move the Button: Click and hold the button to drag it to a more convenient location on your screen.

📝 Notes & Troubleshooting

  • Page Loading: Please ensure the chat page has fully loaded before clicking export. If the export fails, wait a few seconds and try again.
  • Long Conversations: For extremely long chats, you might need to scroll down to the bottom of the page first to ensure all messages are loaded into the browser's memory before exporting.
  • Missing Button? If the button doesn't appear, try refreshing the page. Some AI sites use complex single-page application (SPA) routing, but the script is designed to automatically detect and reappear.

🔒 Privacy & Security

This script runs 100% locally in your browser. It does not send your chat data to any external servers, analytics trackers, or third parties. It simply reads the text currently visible on your screen and packages it into a downloadable file.
