What is not working for you.
Seems to be an issue outside of this script, so this script works just fine.
Another popup on a speed control extension I use is also not showing up on these widescreen aspect videos.
They both come back when I change volume and the Windows 11 volume indicator comes up. So this may be something weird on just my system.

Doesn't work in fullscreen on some videos.
For a while now it seems to fail on videos that aren't 16:9, when in fullscreen. For example this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7W2v_FmCuE and often on LinusTechTips videos, whose videos are also often in a widescreen aspect ratio. Not sure if that is the cause or something else about these videos.
Works perfectly well on most other videos. Hope this can get fixed.
