Script seems to work almost perfectly still in 2022. Also if possible can you change to icons to its original grey color.

If you're talking about the colours on the top bar, those were always white in dark mode and they aren't affected by the updated colouring. For other icons, this line: document.getElementsByTagName("html")[0].removeAttribute("system-icons");, reverts them to the original grey colour.
