Hi!
Thanks for your feedback!
For speed control, you can use the following shortcuts:
Alt + = : Increase speed
Alt + - : Decrease speed
I don't have a Windows 7 machine to test right now, but these shortcuts are designed to be universal. If they work for you, would you mind updating your rating to "Good"? It would be a huge encouragement for me to keep maintaining this script!
Let me know if it works! Cheers.
Hi!
Alt+=: Increase speed
Alt+-: Decrease speedLet me know if it works! Cheers.
i already tried ALT and other keys like CTRL and SHIFT but no success
i tested the other script "HTML5 Video Player Enhance" and it works fine
i tested on facebook and X
Hi! Thank you for the feedback.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. I've tested the script on Windows 10 (Facebook and X) and it seems to be working correctly there.
To help me narrow down the issue, could you please check a few things?
Shortcut Clarification: For "Alt + =", you only need to press the Alt key and the = key at the same time. You don't need to press the "+" key itself. Is that how you were trying it?
Browser & Manager: Which browser and script manager (Tampermonkey, Violentmonkey, etc.) are you using? Since you are on Windows 7, some older browser versions might handle key events differently.
Conflict Check: Since you mentioned another script works fine, please make sure that script is disabled when testing mine, as they might both be trying to "grab" the same shortcut keys.
Console Log: If possible, could you press F12, go to the "Console" tab, and see if any red error messages appear when you press the keys?
I'll do my best to look into this further!

Yes, i know how that works, and i tested on instagram and it work fine (but not in FB & X)

i'm using Ungoogled Chromium with Tampermonkey

Yes, i even removed it to make sure ...

i saw some orange (not red)
I'll do my best to look into this further!
don't bother, i will update my system to win10 or 11 in the near future and thank you
Got it! Thanks for the feedback anyway.
Since I'm already using the capture phase for event listeners and cannot reproduce the issue on Win10, it's very likely an environment-specific quirk of Win7 or that specific browser build.
I'll keep an eye on similar reports. If more users encounter this, I'll consider alternative shortcut options. Good luck with your system upgrade!
Hi
what's the key used for speed control in windows 7 ?
